Forgetly Subprocessors

This page lists the third-party services currently used to operate Forgetly and describes why they may process personal information. A provider may act as our service provider or processor for some activities and under its own legal responsibilities for others. Optional providers process your information only when you use the associated feature.
AI Providers
OpenAI
Purpose: Primary AI message analysis and response generation
Information involved: Message content, relevant conversation and reminder context, connected-account content needed for a requested feature, and limited profile context such as nickname or timezone

xAI
Purpose: Enabled AI processing and fallback response generation
Information involved: Message content, relevant conversation and reminder context, connected-account content needed for a requested feature, and limited profile context such as nickname or timezone

Cloud, Delivery, and Operations
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Purpose: Hosting the Forgetly website and dashboard
Information involved: Account and session data, web requests, and operational logs handled by the hosted application

ngrok
Purpose: Secure network connectivity between Forgetly's hosted services and backend infrastructure
Information involved: API traffic and network connection metadata passing through the service

Resend
Purpose: Transactional email delivery
Information involved: Email address and transactional email content, such as verification and account notices
Provider information: Resend Privacy Policy
Expo
Purpose: Companion-app build and update services and push-notification routing
Information involved: App and build metadata, Expo push token, device platform, and notification content needed for delivery
Provider information: Expo Privacy Policy
Apple
Purpose: iOS push-notification delivery and Apple messaging infrastructure used for iMessage-connected delivery paths
Information involved: Device push token and notification content for push delivery; phone number, routing metadata, and message content for Apple messaging paths
Provider information: Apple Privacy Policy
Account, Connected Features, Analytics, and Messaging
Purpose: Google sign-in, reCAPTCHA anti-abuse checks, optional Gmail and Google Calendar features, Google Maps place lookup, Google Analytics, hosted web-font delivery, and Android push delivery through Firebase Cloud Messaging
Information involved: Depending on the feature: authentication and anti-abuse data; encrypted OAuth tokens; Gmail and Calendar data you authorize; place descriptions used for lookup; page views, product events, cookie or similar analytics identifiers, browser and device context; browser request information used for hosted font delivery; Android push tokens and notification content
Provider information: Google Privacy Policy
Stripe
Purpose: Checkout, payment processing, subscription billing, and billing-portal access
Information involved: Billing contact details, customer and subscription identifiers, plan and payment status, transaction metadata, and payment information handled directly by Stripe

Apple Messaging Infrastructure
Apple messaging is also used when a user communicates with Forgetly through an iMessage-connected path. See the Apple entry above for its purpose and information categories.
Provider Changes
Features that are disabled or only under development are not listed as active providers. Before a new provider begins processing production user information, or when a provider's role materially changes, Forgetly should update this page and any affected product notice.
